What you’ll do
- Develop back end applications written in ROR.
- Work with the Development team, Product Manager and marketing manager, collect technical requirements and implement them.
- Research and implement new technologies.
- Scoping, development planning, and technical architecture.
- Ensure technical quality, product quality, and efficient use of resources.
- Hands-on development/maintenance features across the whole stack.
- At least 7 years hands on experience, at least 3 out of them in web development.
- At least 3 years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails – A must.
- At least 3 years experience with SQL databases(Postgresql) and NoSQL databases(MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of web infrastructure such as load balancers, web servers, database servers, search engines and caches.
- Experience in web scraping.
- Experience building REST APIs that are scalable and highly efficient.
- Experience with Git
- Experience with TDD, BDD and agile methodologies - advantage
- Experience with Capistrano.
- Experience with Redis.
- Experience in mobile development.
- Experience dealing with big data.

- Experience in web scraping.
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience in mobile development.

- Experience dealing with big data.
- University degree with a high GPA.
